" Dubai From My Eyes- Esra's Transformative EdTravel Story"

I am ESRA KAYISOGLU a passionate teacher, a writer, mom of two kids from Turkey, had always dreamed of exploring the world and gaining valuable insights into different culture and educational systems. I had heard about the teacher excursion program offered by EdTrips, a renowned educational travel company, and decided to seize the opportunity.

This program aimed to provide teachers with a chance to enhance their knowledge and gain valuable experiences in different parts of the world. I, being an adventurous soul, was immediately intrigued by the prospect of participating in the program and I decided to embark on an unforgettable journey to Dubai. With my bags packed and enthusiasm in my heart, I set off for Dubai, a city known for its modern architecture, cultural diversity, and vibrant lifestyle. Upon arriving, I was warmly greeted by the EdTrips team, who had meticulously planned an itinerary full of educational and cultural activities for the participating teachers.

The excursion began with ventured into the desert on a thrilling safari. Riding over the golden sand dunes in a 4x4, I laughed and shouted with joy. The breathtaking sunset painted the sky in hues of orange and pink, creating a mesmerizing backdrop for the traditional Bedouin camp we visited. I savored the flavors of Emirati cuisine, from fragrant rice dishes to succulent grilled meats, and was captivated by the rhythmic beats of traditional music and dance.

During my stay, I had the opportunity to visit some of Dubai's most iconic landmarks. One of my favourite experiences was a visit to the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. As I stood at the observation deck on the 148th floor, I marvelled at the panoramic view of the city below. The vastness of Dubai's skyline made me feel both small and inspired, reminding me of the endless possibilities life had to offer.

Experiencing the dancing fountain show in front of Dubai mall will always be one of the best moments of my life and it was magnificent. Global Village was another attraction in Dubai, It gave us the chance to get in touch with people, culture , products and entertainment of many countries around the world. Spending time there was fun.The following days were filled with exploration and immersion in Dubai's rich cultural heritage. I and my fellow teachers visited historical sites such as the Al Fahidi Historic District, where we learned about Dubai's humble beginnings as a fishing and trading village.

One of the highlights of the trip was a seminar organized by Edtrips, where educators from around the world gathered to share their insights and experiences. I had the chance to present my own teaching methods, which were met with great enthusiasm by my international colleagues. The exchange of ideas during the seminar sparked new inspiration and motivation for me, reaffirming my passion for teaching.
